Executive Leadership

John Proven
President | NFI Parts
John Proven brings over 20 years of experience in global markets and leadership of geographically diverse operations in manufacturing environments. John is the President of NFI Parts, North America’s most comprehensive parts organization, representing the OEM product lines of New Flyer, MCI, Alexander Dennis, and ARBOC. He is responsible for NFI Parts Sales and Business Development, Business Systems, Publications, Training, Warranty, Smart Bus Technology, Aftermarket Supply Chain, and Distribution.
Prior to NFI, John served as President and Chief Executive Officer of CEL Group of Companies (CEL). Its brands Conviron and Argus Control Systems Ltd. are global leaders in the design and manufacture of plant growth chambers, rooms, and environmental control systems.

Kerri Moloney
Vice President | Sales and Customer Service
Kerri joined New Flyer in 1994 in Customer Service and has held a number of customer service, sales and business development positions throughout her career.
Kerri began with New Flyer as a Parts Account Manager and quickly became the Customer Service Manager where she developed and implemented many of our customer service staff, processes and programs we utilize today. She was a key part of the implementation team to our current software system (Oracle) and has a strong understanding of all aspects of the Parts Organization. In her current role of Vice President, she has the overall responsibility of ensuring customer satisfaction and that NFI Parts provides a strong level of customer service, contract management, parts delivery, and support services that meet or exceed our customers’ overall expectations.

Brian Hanna
Vice President of Operations
Brian brings over 18 years of leadership experience in operations, sales, and customer service.
Brian joined NFI Parts in 2015 and brings over 18 years of leadership experience across operations, customer service, and sales. He has played a key role in major initiatives including the launch and evolution of the NFI Parts e-commerce platform, enterprise system transitions, and the implementation of modern customer engagement technologies. As Vice President, Operations, Brian oversees Business Systems, Procurement and Planning, Distribution and Warehousing, and Logistics, with a focus on operational excellence, service performance, and scalable growth. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Arts in Leadership and Management.

Steve Smith
Vice President | NFI Parts Business Development & Aftermarket Services
Steve is a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record of scaling organizations, building high-performance teams, and consistently delivering record-breaking results.
Steve Smith leads the strategic initiatives within Business Development and Aftermarket Services, which includes Engineering, Product Development, Publications, and Technical Training to drive sustainable revenue growth and expand market presence. His team will be focused on capitalizing on new opportunities and fostering strong customer relationships to achieve NFI Parts’ strategic goals.

Andrew Garrison
Vice President | Finance
Andrew has a robust background in financial management, strategic planning, and process optimization.
He started his career with MCI Service Parts in 2011 and has held numerous roles within finance/accounting. Andrew joined NFI Parts when MCISP and New Flyer Parts merged in 2018. Andrew began with NFI Parts as a Senior Financial Analyst and has also held roles as Accounting Manager and Director of Finance. In his role, Andrew is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial management along with playing a vital role in the strategic planning of the organization. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Louisville.
